2. What areas do you service?
We are based on the Gold Coast & service the Gold Coast, Brisbane, Ipswich, Toowoomba, Logan, Scenic Rim & South East Queensland. 3. Do I need council approval for my project?
Most construction projects require some level of approval. We can guide you through the Development Application (DA) or Complying Development (CDC) processes, working alongside certifiers, engineers & local councils to ensure compliance with all regulations.
4. Can you help with town planning or engineering?
Yes. While we focus on building design & drafting, we regularly work with a trusted network of town planners, structural engineers, certifiers & other consultants to deliver a complete service from concept to construction.
5. What’s the difference between a building designer & an architect?
Both professionals can design your home, but building designers typically offer a more cost-effective approach for residential & small commercial projects. At CJP Design Solutions, we are fully qualified & experienced in delivering practical, creative & council-compliant designs.
6. How much do your services cost?

7. Do you offer 3D renders or virtual walkthroughs?
Yes, we can provide 3D renders & visualisation services to help you better understand your project before construction begins. This service is optional & can be included in your quote.
8. What is the typical process from start to finish?
Here’s how we typically work:

9. Do you visit the site?
As all projects are different, it is not always necessary to do a site visit. However, for most projects we prefer to conduct a site visit to assess the land, understand the surrounding context & ensure the design is both practical & suited to the site’s conditions.

Absolutely. Whether you’re extending an existing home, adding a second storey or reconfiguring your floor plan, we have extensive experience in renovations & additions.
